The Annex VII form: what to include and common mistakes

What data is usually needed

  • the person arranging the shipment, the waste producer, the consignee and the treatment facility;
  • the carrier or carriers and the date of the shipment;
  • the waste description, codes and quantity;
  • the countries of origin, transit and destination;
  • the arranger's declaration that the information is correct, and the contract with the consignee.

Common mistakes

  • company names or addresses that differ between documents;
  • a wrong or outdated waste code;
  • a quantity that does not match the real shipment;
  • missing or expired permits;
  • data typed in several places that no longer matches.

How to reduce manual work

When partner and waste data live in one place, the Annex VII form can be prepared from data that is already checked instead of being retyped each time. Cargoleaf reads forms from PDF files, and a person checks every field before approving.
